The horror when the last Journal entry here was from 2013. Haven't updated this widget since~

Now for the sake of 'updating':
Long weekend next week.
Multiple days of photoshoot.
KO days after.  

First post for year 2013!

The most recent 'happening' which is Seasons from (Its another of our annual gathering) on 30 December 2012.

The four Seasons are portrayed by;
as Spring
Xuyun as Summer
as Autumn
as Winter

Not forgetting as the honorary guest photographer. Thank you for spending your precious time with us!

There were a few events filling in the last quarter of 2012. STGCC, TGX, AFA 2012 at EXPO, and EOY at Marina Barrage. I think there were more, or its just my memory jumbling in all the stuff together again. Hahaha. And the impromptu/last minute shoots in past the final months.

This year, have already laid out the few confirmed cosplays. Of cos, the list will undoubtedly change very often!

BANZAI to this year 2013!

With another anticipated event over, there is just this… hollow feeling that is missing. Cosfest was loads of fun. The aches, tired and dry eyes, and room mess are totally worth it.
The highlights of both days (my point of view~) are appearances by Reika, Tatsumi and Kotori. Even though I didn't get to trade with Reika's coscard, I just passed mine to her during the autograph session. Seriously, the fans seemed uncontrollable. and me were queuing to get a picture with her when she was greeting her fans at the gate, I swear that even when we are suppose to be next, somehow another group of person would suddenly be in front of us! Well okay, then she has to watch the competition and our chance slipped. It is quite sad really, as it is just our turn next. On the second day, then I did manage to take a shot with Reika when I see that there is almost nobody after the group she is talking with. I was hoping to get her card, but I saw she wasn't holding any so maybe she gave them all out. That's fine! A picture is already alright~
Tatsumi was also there as a judge. Didn't get to take a picture together with him (only took a picture of him). And we traded our cards. On the second day, got to take picture and asked him to sign his card. (Thanks for the pen and taking the picture!) YAY! My day is complete.
Traded cards with Kotori on the first day, and took a picture with her on the second day but didn't manage to get her to sign her card.
Well, that's that. I am already smiling like a goat when Tatsumi and Reika was saying my character's name 'Chosokabe'.

It is quite refreshing to see more character and series varieties this time. The crowd is also much more manageable (or maybe I just got used to fully packed spaces). Watching the competition is also inspiring. And thank you to those who exchanged cards.

Just like that, two days passed.
Looking forward to the next event~!

Everyone who is still fretting and losing sleep to finish up costume, GOOD LUCK!

Cosfest is coming this weekend. In two days time! Finally finished with sewing the final costume piece and there is still lots of waiting for glue and paint to dry for Sunday's.

Will be cosplaying Gintama's Takasugi Shinsuke this Saturday.
On Sunday will be doing a repeat-cos of Samurai Warriors' Motochika Chosokabe.
Feeling quite excited for reasons unknown.  

Meanwhile, don't fall sick and be at optimum health until Sunday ends.

Anyways, I have printed a new batch of Coscards some time ago, so I hope to be able to exchange them with any of you out there who wants to. Ahoho~
